Sophia Bruce, Production Editor
Sophia Bruce was born and raised in Sanger, but attended St. Helen’s in Fresno up until ninth grade when she enrolled at Sanger High. The transition was a challenge, but ultimately rewarding and now she looks forward to her senior year. Sophia has two brothers, one younger and one older. She suffers from Middle Child Syndrome. When she was younger, she participated in sports such as volleyball and basketball but eventually stopped “because I sucked,” Sophia said. Instead she prefers to draw, write, read, and hang out with friends. Her favorite school subject is English.
Sophia uses her free time to enjoy her hobbies and wishes to someday make a career out of the art she makes. “If I was a nepotism baby, I would totally want to attend Rhode Island School of Design, but I’m not so sure about the tuition cost,” said Sophia. If she doesn’t get into RISD, she’ll most likely attend school in Oregon and try to get an apartment with her friends, she said.
