I believe we should keep the logo of the man given its much more complex design and history behind it. People who have come to recognize our school as the Apaches because of this logo. Along with this, the word Apaches means enemy more toward the liking of fierce competition and how it could be seen as the strive to win. That is better than a mountain.
There’s also the fact of how attached some have gotten to the logo over the years and replacing it would feel like a shame.
And with how some people at Fresno High were upset with their mascot change, I believe it would be better to keep it as it is since it has a history with [residents from] an indigenous tribe and shows a part of that history.

I agree with the school’s decision to change the school’s logo from the Apache to the mountain.
I believe this because as a school we do not want to be representing the wrong things and surrounding ourselves with unwanted attention.
The logo changing would mean we, as a community, are no longer supporting the Native’s culture.
Although many may not agree with this decision as a school who embraces change and diversity I believe this would be the best school decision.
